New Funding Opportunities: Maryland State Revitalization Programs Open for Applications until June 2, 2025
The Maryland Workforce Alliance is excited to share a major opportunity for our member organizations and partners: the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) has opened the application window for $37.7 million in funding through its six State Revitalization Programs. If your organization is committed to advancing community revitalization and economic development, this is your moment to make a significant impact!
Why This Matters
Governor Wes Moore’s Fiscal Year 2026 budget has allocated over $69 million to State Revitalization Programs, with $37.7 million available through a competitive application process. These funds are designed to empower local governments, Community Development Corporations, higher education institutions, and hospitals to strengthen Maryland’s communities—whether through business retention, homeownership, commercial revitalization, or strategic redevelopment.
